The Nîmes Tour app

The app collects no personal data. It requires no account, contains no ads or analytics, and sends nothing to our servers. Your preferences (language, places visited, stamps, challenges, quizzes, favourites) are stored on your device and are deleted if you remove the app.

Location

If you allow it, the app uses your device's location to show where you are on the map, display distances to places and guide you. This location is processed on your device; it is never stored or sent to our servers. You can withdraw permission at any time in your iPhone or iPad settings.

Map and routes

To display the detailed map, the app downloads map tiles from OpenFreeMap, as a web browser would. To draw a walking route, it sends the start and end points to the OpenStreetMap routing service. No data identifying you is added to these requests.

The website

The website collects one piece of data only: the email address you choose to leave in the "Get notified" form, with the date of your consent and the site language. It is used only to announce the app's release, then deleted no later than 12 months after that announcement. It is never sold or shared. The site uses no advertising cookies and no analytics; only a technical session cookie protects the form.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your address by writing to contact@immersion-totale.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
